When you view your everyday Moments as an opportunity to help your friends, family, colleagues and partners help THEIR connections solve a problem, you aren’t selling your business. You are equipping others with knowledge that they can use to help their network, friends, colleagues, neighbors and service providers solve a problem.
Here are four tips to think about as you turn Everyday Moments into Marketing Moments:

People remember concrete examples. Always be ready and able to share a Moment when you:
[Tip 2] Be bold! Share your stories in non-traditional settings
Share stories
You don’t know who they know or what they know. That person may know your next big client, that collaborator you’ve been looking for or spur your next big idea.
[Tip 3] Shift your mindset
Have you ever read or heard of The Go-Giver by Bob Burg? In short, Joe, our struggling businessman learns, about the Five Laws of Stratospheric Success. This tip is all about Law Number 3 – the Law of Influence, which says,
“Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place
other people’s interests first.”
By sharing your story and others’ in everyday moments, you are really serving your colleagues and your listeners.
[Tip 4] Set the example
Sharing is contagious – When you successfully share a story in an everyday moment, you set the example for others to do the same.
